impossible Germany Unlikely Japan

Strangely, a song on Wilco's album, Sky Blue Sky, has a title and lyric that seems to address my life fairly well, "Impossible Germany." The next line is "unlikely Japan," where I spent the millennium. I lived in Germany with my family as a child in the American Empire in Germany and again the 1980s, in the Schwabisch Alps, not far from Heidelberg where we had lived in the late 1960s. This song reminds me of my life in that Empire, and Wilco would understand what I mean. They are the Radiohead of Middle America.
