This is a view down Laguna Street into Japantown and beyond to The Castro. I find the pastel hues of San Francisco's architecture help relieve the grayness and keep the mood from being too grim.
It's been an unseasonably chilly Summer, even as the rest of the country bakes. The gray skies and fog have not really let up yet. I prefer a cool Summer to an overheated one. Besides, it gives me a chance to wear my vintage corduroy jacket.
