My brother & i took some time walking through The Mission District during his brief visit on Christmas Eve. We walked through Clarion Alley to see the latest murals and were rewarded with eye-popping talent. [title links to Clarion Alley Project info] I restrained myself from getting too snap-happy so that I might see what i was looking at rather than watching the camera. Understanding when NOT to take photographs is as important as taking them. I had to record this particular piece, though, inspired by Escher, Barry McGee, Sirron Norris and The Mission School of public artists. It reminds me of the best idea of The City Life and its possibilities.
