waiting at night for the bus to arrive

A clear critique of San Francisco's public transportation system is a thread I could easily begin, but it might be too difficult to keep out the profound sense of irritation i feel for MUNI and its failed municipal duty to effectively move people around the city. I'll aim, instead for the aesthetic, sensory qualities i associate with it. Here, in black and white, is a reflection on waiting for the bus at night in The Lower Haight. Note the creepy, gnomic figure painted on the wall at the far right of this shot. It's a decent summation of the emotional state the declining service instills in its riders, adding mightily to the stress of urban life.
