Yesterday was one of those picture postcard days on San Francisco Bay. Though the wind was strong, it kept a few dozen windsurfers very happy as they rode the waves at The Golden Gate. Here's a self portrait of me at a favorite spot, The Aquatic Park, next to a despised spot, Fisherman's Wharf. Just crossing Hyde Street seems to make a world of difference between tourist shlock and aesthetic hideousity and the serene, sublime beauty of San Francisco's North Shore. Behind me you can see Mount Tamalpais in the foggy haze and on the other side, the wonderful ship Balclutha docked at Hyde Street Pier.
More and more popper enthusiasts are making their own DIY brews at home - "Poppers are expensive, and you barely know what's in them half the time. That's why some are skipping the sex shop and braving the risks to home brew."
