Into Photo House

Photo House at SF CameraWorks
Michael Garlington's Photo House on exhibit at SF CameraWorks is a moving, all-encompassing installation that blends architecture, photography, social essay, psychology, mysticism, and portraiture. Essentially a simple house made of framed portraits, inside it transforms into a house of the holy. Its altarpiece draws you to a third eye which, gazed into, reveals another world entirely.
