Every few months, the gals at Vesuvio's throw a very artsy-craftsy fair in Jack Kerouac Alley featuring local artists and crafts-people. It's quite an adorable "Fair to Remember," with a design element that lifts it far above the tired street fair morass. It also makes brilliant use of one of the city's most appealing alleys. I was so very tempted to pick up a few things, but finances kept my wallet firmly settled in its pocket. Inquire at Vesuvio's for the next Fair. It's a terrific neighborhood event worth your attention.
