SoMa Water

SoMa is the most experimental and contemporary part of San Francisco. The district just south of Market Street in The Financial District has changed radically since I've lived here. Everything seen in this reflecting pool beside Golden Gate University is entirely built since the 1990s. As an emerging commercial district, it's exciting. I only hope that the mix of nightlife, loft spaces, and big bucks residential high-risers can continue to co-exist with corporate skyscrapers. That's a rare equilibrium, to be sure.
