I've posted the progress on the construction of the new campus on the block on Kearny Street between Jackson & Washington for some time now. It's getting close to completion and looking pretty sharp, if a bit samey-samey in its color scheme. The additional structure that faces Columbus Avenue on the far side of this block helps tie the whole thing together. Only a few of the remaining old buildings on the blocks are likely to survive much longer. The one on the corner of Columbus & Jackson seems askew and set to fall down on its own accord. The long planning battles fought on this block may not have been in vain after all.
