I'm in the middle of the Summer doldrums. So many tourists are packing the streets of my neighborhood taking photographs of everything that I've felt strangely unmoved to document anything. I'm sure it will pass, but some days I wonder if San Francisco isn't over-documented. I'm looking into upgrading my camera so I can concentrate on other styles of photography beyond the panoramic streetscape, to turn my attention to the details and away from the context.
Until then, I'm taking time to refresh the creative batteries. This is a portrait of me at The Page Pub on Divisadero, doing just that.
