I'm not a Baby Boomer. I was born in the Autumn of Love, October 1967. However, I've always loved this song and long before I lived in San Francisco (and well after its Hippie Heydays) it sounded like a beacon to me. It still does. Scott McKenzie died earlier this month. His song will always be a part of this city's dreaminess.
